Erica is a flight attendant on Malcom McDaniel's private jet which crashes and they end up on a gorgeous island. Erica, Malcolm, Brad and Lainey have wonderful interactions with each other in this well thought out fun romp. You get to meet these four and all their quirks in a fun, romantic and sexy story. Although I did start out reading this as a serial in part 1, it left me wanting more at a cliff hanger, so I was pleased to see this complete series and I was able to read it as a whole. Chase and Duvane wrote a very good book with great characters. If you want a quick read and a sexy book, I recommend this one.Product details

I love Malcolm McDaniel, the hot, sexy, alpha billionaire who had an instant attraction to Erica the flight attendant on his private plane which was headed to Tokyo with his sister for her birthday which also included her boyfriend and her friends.The flight crew included another flight attendant Lainey, who was her best friend and the pilot Brad, who was Erica's ex-boyfriend whom she broke it off with approximately 4 months prior because there just wasn't any spark there. When they landed in Tokyo, Malcolm requested that the crew stay aboard the plane because he would be returning in a few hours, once he returns on the plane he hears Erica and Lainey talking about him. Erica turns around and realizes that Malcolm had heard what was said and Malcolm makes it clear that he is interested in Erica. Shortly after Malcolm had shown his interest in Erica, the plane starts descending rapidly and hits the water where Erica is thrown out. Erica wakes up on a beach and wonders if she is the only one alive and goes searching for the others and comes across Brad, she is so happy to see him that she runs into his arms. It starts to rain heavily so they find a cave for shelter and Brad takes Erica into his arms and soothes her, soon Erica wonders if she could have feelings for Brad. That is until Lainey and Malcolm walks into the cave and their eyes meet and Erica ends up in Malcolm's arms, which makes Brad jealous and he punches Malcolm. Erica makes her choice, which I am not going to reveal here, you need to read the book. Erica does get her HEA, I know I am a Debby Downer! I will absolutely read more from Jenna Chase.
I received an ARC for an honest review. This is the first book I've read by Jenna Chase although I have read books by JB Duvane. I'm definitely going to be reading more. Erica is a flight attendant and she is working on a private jet flying round trip to Tokyo. The owner is billionaire Malcom McDaniel who can't seem to take his eyes off of Erica. They begin a very hot sexy encounter and all of a suddent the plane starts descending rapidly crashing into the water and Erica disappears out of Malcolm’s arms!
Erica wakes up in the sand in the edge of the water. As far as she can see she's by herself. She climbs a huge rock and sees a man who's come out of the jungle. As she climbs down the rocks and runs to him, she realizes it's Brad, the pilot, her ex, and she's relieved that there's someone else alive. He had set the alert from the split front half of the plane and walked toward the beach. Subsequent chapters have Malcolm swimming from the downed back half of the plane to the island and meeting with Lainey, the other flight attendant. She had found the copilot dead but hadn't seen anyone else. A violent thunderstorm causes all four survivors to seek shelter under the rocky overhang where the two couples meet up, glad to have found each other, although Brad may be trying to move in on Erica again. Things are not happy in this paradise! Hah! Each survivor has tasks....but Lainey doesn’t return and Erica is too worried to relax and is determined to go out to find her, even though Malcolm thinks it’s too dangerous. Malcolm, Brad and Erica decide to all go out of the cave to look for Lainey but stay within site of each other and the cave. Erica finds Lainey returning from the plane because she remembered where it was and she has food, water, blankets and the beacon! Erica makes her decision between Malcolm and Brad (although that had pretty much been made). Lainey and Brad seem to hit it off. Malcolm and Erica trek to the plane across the island. When Brad and Lainey catch up, bad news---no communications.....But rescue choppers find them shortly after and bring them to an aircraft carrier. The deceased pilot was retrieved and the debris from the downed plane was removed. Although everyone went back to their 'normal' lives, angst-y Erica wouldn't answer any of Malcolm's calls because she decided that it was the mystique of the island, the adventure that made him say the things he said to her; that he didn't really mean any of it. That she loved him but he didn't really love her! Lainey convinced her to hear him out and Erica agreed. When she saw him and listened, all was perfect, because of course, he meant every word!! He had a few surprises for her, but I won't spoil those. You should read this last book! A fitting ending to this interesting story.

Enjoyed reading this book. I do wished it was little more but still like it. Well written with edge of seat holding your breath!

Characters were fairly good, but the love at first sight was a bit quick to be believable. While the book became a bit exciting in the middle, it literally dragged after that. Needs serious work on the editing.
Great Story! This was offered as a serial over time in emails. Well after the first installment I needed more fast so I skipped the free, and purchased! It was worth It! A quick,outrageous, fun read.
